It has been our experience that a lot of the specifications written today allow for the big equipment manufacturers to bundle the facility enterprise controls with their equipment.
You have just given them the keys to the facility enterprise, and that sucks totally for the owner of the facility.
MEPs today must think about the facility enterprise being separate from the equipment they specify.
